HGV Drivers Keep Vocational Licences at Driver Conduct Hearing for Tachograph Offences

Two HGV drivers, represented by SBC, were called to Driver Conduct Hearing before the Traffic Commissioner after a number of tachograph offences were uncovered in a DVSA investigation. The advocate was able to demonstrate that these offences, though unfortunate, did not take place intentionally. He was also able to show that significant steps had taken place since the offences took place to ensure they never occurred again.

After hearing evidence and submissions, the Traffic Commissioner decided to issue both drivers with a Warning.
