Civil Penalty for Clandestine Entrants Reduced by Nearly 90%

A Lithuanian haulage firm received a heavy financial penalty after illegal immigrants were found in one of their trucks entering the UK at Calais. Following detailed submissions prepared by Smith Bowyer Clarke Road Transport Lawyers, the Border Force was persuaded to reduce the total penalty by nearly 90%.
